About me

Hi, I'm Holly! I'm a self-taught home baker excited to share my love of making delicious things with the community. I first started baking naturally-leavened (sourdough) breads in 2008 and was hooked immediately. In all of my baking, taste and enjoyment are the top priorities. To achieve this, I use high-quality ingredients: all organic flours from Central Milling in California and Meadowlark Farm & Mill in Wisconsin, French gray sea salt from Penzey's, and other fine products.

Aside from baking (and cooking. and eating out. and generally thinking about food all. the. time.), I enjoy spending time with my husband and child, try to get regular exercise including running and tennis, and love to soak in the sun as much as possible with a good book or NYT crossword puzzle.
